This facility formed part of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Spacecraft Tracking and Data Acquisition Network (STADAN). It ultimately became obsolete and was closed in 1985 and unfortunately due to excessive vandalism the site was later bulldozed leaving only the footprint visible below from Google Earth (2019).
